“We are already working on two projects and both have scripts in development,” Di Bonaventura told Japanese media Cinema. “One is the last in the main family series that follows the events of Transformers: The Last Knight and the other is a sequel to Bumblebee. So we’re thinking of movies where Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will be the buddies, but when Optimus and Bumblebee are the protagonists movies… how humans get involved in their drama In the first place, the size is different between human beings and theirs …. This is a worrying point (laughs).

Released in 2018, Bumblebee was enjoyed by many and also earned a 92 percent Certified Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, the most outstanding of all franchise movies. However, financially, Bumblebee only earned $ 465.2 million worldwide on a production budget of $ 102 million.
